Do you have trouble calming your mind before going to sleep?

Do your thoughts often begin with what-if or catastrophizing?

If you're experiencing these concerns, you're not alone. Many people struggle with these symptoms, and they struggle to find solutions as well. We can help you with this.

How we help with Anxiety

Anxiety can manifest itself in so many different ways, and there are so many different causes and triggers when it pops up. Being a therapist for over two decades  I have helped so many manage their anxiety with cognitive behavioral therapy and other modalities so they can live their life the way they want.

Symptoms of Anxiety

While everyone experiences anxiety differently, some of the most common symptoms of anxiety are;

  • Excessive worrying
  • Restlessness
  • Fatigue
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Irritability
  • Muscle tension
  • Sleep problems
  • Difficulty breathing

No matter what you are going through, we can help you fight your anxiety. We go at your pace, and focus on making progress, whatever progress is to you. We will work with you to help mitigate the effects of anxiety and get you back to who you are.

What Anxiety Therapy Is:

Anxiety is hard to fight, but we are trained in being able to help you. We will give you coping strategies, help you identify your triggers, and help you change your thought processes to recognize and overcome your anxiety driven thoughts... and why they are there in the first place!

Ways we help with Anxiety

Some of the ways we help with anxiety are breathing exercises, CBT and helping build your confidence to deal with anxiety.  Some techniques we might use are:

Breathing Exercises

When you are having an anxiety attack or episode one of the most common symptoms is a hard time breathing. We will give you a range of breathing exercises, like 4,7,8 breathing, box breathing, and more to help you regain your breathing ability. These also help lower your heart rate and help clear your mind, which can reduce the symptoms of anxiety as well.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy

CBT helps you identify the situations, thoughts, or behaviors that trigger your anxiety, giving you a better understanding of how to manage them. Many people instinctively avoid anxiety-inducing situations, but this can actually reinforce fear over time. Through CBT, you’ll gradually face these situations in a safe, controlled way, helping you build confidence. Additionally, you’ll develop skills to manage intense emotions, preventing them from spiraling out of control.

Building Confidence

We work with you to build your confidence to help with anxiety. Giving you all the strategies is helpful, but we also work with you so you can start to try and fight your anxiety when you are by yourself. We don't just give you the ingredients to bake a cake, we try to give you the recipe too.

Let’s work together — you don’t have to manage this alone.  Begin Anxiety Therapy Today
